Spring’s “good things”

Fortunately for me, a friend purchased Martha Stewart’s Westport home… lock, stock and gardens. And, she has graciously granted me access to photograph the grounds as they progress through the change of seasons. Unseasonably warm temps in the Northeast has had a fast-forward effect on flora and foliage.. and Martha’s gardens are already showing their colors, sometimes against the vestiges of lingering fall leaves.

A view of the grounds

Love this little moss-roofed shed

Most trees are decorated with floral ground coverings

This must have shot up from the earth today…still has dirt all over it

Even the moss between the stones on the steps is interesting

Even the rock walls reveal delicate plantings

A view of the chicken coop

Delicate leaves of one of the wide varieties of roses trellised in the rose garden
