Jay McInerney

Jay McInerney, author, socialite, wine expert, and icon of the 80’s NYC nightlife scene needed a new website. His current site was brooding but boring.. with not much to connect the fan/visitor to the legend. KRD designed his new site to be insider-ish, interactive and immediate including (as-they’re-tweeted) Tweets on his home page; a graphic timeline to click and drag through Jay’s visual biography; and the author’s own notes and comments on each of his books. The site was built so that Jay could manage his own blog posts and his publicist could add new events and speaking engagements on his Appearances page as they happen. We also set Jay up on an email platform so that his fans could sign up and receive McInerney’s latest posts in their email. jaymcinerney.com
