Depth of Design

We’ve been looking at some really clever websites that make use of vertical space and give a feeling of movement and dimension. The developers have used a layering effect that simulates a depth of field. It’s the digital equivalent to the effect the multiplane cameras bring to animated films. What makes these sites remarkable is the fact that they are based on a single page. Another design trend we are loving is the use of single images filling the entire screen for greater visual impact.
